What is the WAVE?

Come and join the WAVE 2011 - the World Advanced Vehicle Expedition! This exciting event will travel from Paris to Prague this September with a special mission to promote electric mobility running on renewable energy.

Let's make a difference, together! We will visit governments, business leaders, schools and places of interest. Get an electric car, form a team and join us! Let's have fun! Or be our host and support us! The WAVE will grow year by year. More and more people will wave and show that new technical solutions are ready, reliable and fun!

TEAMS

20 teams from Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, UK, India, United States and United Arab Emirates have signed up to join the WAVE 2011 with their electric vans, cars, three-wheelers, motorbikes and e-bikes. See who they are

The ELECTRIC SUPERCAR AWARD!

The winner of the WAVE 2011 is Team TWIKE4 from Germany with 136 points! Second is Team Oekozentrum (Team 5, Switzerland) with 131 points, followed by Zerotracer (Team 1, Switzerland) and 128 points.

During the WAVE 19 different competitions have been held to find out who has the best vehicle. There was a varied selection of criteria like top speed, range, design, efficiency and many more. See the final results here:
